PM Deuba-led Nepali delegation lands at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi Friday afternoon.

Indian Minister of State for Tourism Ajay Bhatt welcomed the 50-member delegation led by Prime Minister Deuba in New Delhi. The delegation also including four Ministers of Nepal government.

PM Deuba will be staying at ITC Maurya Hotel in Chanakyapuri in New Delhi.

Prime Minister Deuba was scheduled to meet Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and Security Adviser Ajit Doval at 4:30 pm today.

Indian External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted welcoming Deuba in India.

PM Deuba was to reach the central office of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at 5 pm following which he will attend a dinner hosted by the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi.

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Saturday.

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to visit Banaras on Sunday and return home on the same day.
