Gas bullet-hit claims sexagenarian man



KATHMANDU: A man has died after being hit by a gas bullet at Mahankal in the Kathmandu Valley.

The deceased has been identified as 64-year-old Gulam Mohammad of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-1.

According to police, critically injured Mohammad, who was rushed to Bir Hospital, breathed his last in the course of treatment on Thursday evening.

The motorcycle, Ba 4 Pa 6380, Mohammad was riding was hit by a gas bullet, Bagmati Province 03-001 Ka 0551, at 5:45 pm yesterday.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver into custody.
