KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana have held talks.
UML Chairman Oli and RPP General Secretary Rana held a meeting in Nepalgunj on Thursday night, said RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha.
“Preliminary discussions have also been held on the issue of electoral alliance in the upcoming local elections,” said RPP spokesperson Shrestha.
In the meeting, General Secretary Rana, who is also the major of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City, and UML Chairman Oli discussed the upcoming local level elections among other contemporary issues.
The meeting between UML Chair Oli and RPP General Secretary has been viewed significant at a time when when the date of local level election is fast-approaching.
