Nepal sees 158 new coronavirus cases, two deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 158 new cases of coronavirus and two deaths in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Of the confirmed cases today, 92 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 66 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two coronavirus-related deaths have been added to the COVID-19 death tally in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,938 to date.

Currently, there are 7,971 active cases in the country as 354 infected patients recovered.
