Lalita Niwas land scam: Court issues arrest warrant against 120 people



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has issued arrest warrants against 120 people on charges of embezzling 113 ropanis of government land from Lalita Niwas in Baluwatar.

According Kathmandu  District Court Registrar, arrest warrants have been issued against 77 people for the first time since last Sunday, followed by 45 others and eight people today.

High-ranking officials, land mafia and businessmen were also involved in the case. Lately, the case was studied by the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police.
