UML will break the ruling alliance before election: UML Vice Chair Pandey

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Surendra Pandey has said that his party is trying to break the five-party alliance before the upcoming election.

Speaking at a program organized in the home district of Chitwan Friday, Pandey said that his party would strategically break the ongoing ruling alliance and make forthcoming election more secure for the party.

“We will try to break the alliance before the election. The rift in the ruling alliance will ease the election days for UML,” Pandey said.

He urged the party cadres to prepare for the election with the victory in sight.

UML Vice Chair Pandey, who used to be once labeled as leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s mouthpiece, discarded leader Nepal when latter decided to form a new party.
