Chairman Prachanda to answer questions raised on political dossier before leadership selection



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is answering the questions raised on the political dossier submitted by him during the ongoing Eighth General Convention of the party today.

The general convention is being held at Nepal Academy in Kamaladi from Sunday.

As per the information given in the press conference organized at Kamaladi on Friday evening, the closed session will start from 1 pm.

Chairman Prachanda will address the questions raised on his political document titled ‘The Path to Socialism in the 21st century’ once the report of the Accounts, Discipline and Election Commission is presented in the closed session.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the representatives, who were divided into 25 groups, presented their group-wise comments on the political dossier floated by Chairman Prachanda and the statute draft presented by Standing Committee member Dev Prasad Gurung.

Eleven groups on Wednesday and 14 on Thursday presented the findings of their respective groups.
