KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has provided a parliamentary party office to the Madhav Kumar Nepal led CPN-Unified Socialist Party on Tuesday.
According to sources, the parliament secretariat provided office to the Unified Socialist on the second floor of the Parliament Secretariat Building No. 1.
The Madhav Nepal faction had formed the Unified Socialist party on August 18 after splitting from the KP Oli-led CPN-UML.
As soon as the Election Commission gave its official status on August 25, the Parliament Secretariat provided the office of the parliamentary party to the party of Leader Nepal.
A meeting of the newly formed party’s parliamentary party held on Sunday had selected Madhav Nepal as its leader.
Madhav Nepal’s party has 23 MPs in the House of Representatives and seven in the National Assembly.
