KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, General Secretary Dr. Shashank Koirala and former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh have met again at Chaksibari on Saturday.

With the days for party’s 14th General Convention inching closer, the three leaders, all vying for the post of party President, have intensified the internal discussion among each other again and have met at Singh’s residence in Chaksibari, Kathmandu.

Although the cause of their meeting has not been disclosed formally, with the general convention in the court yard their meet has been considered as an attempt to come up with united alternative force in the party.

The meeting of these three leaders, the sons of the founding leaders of the Nepali Congress, BP Koirala, Supreme leader Ganeshman Singh and Mahendra Narayan Nidhi, is viewed as meaningful in NC circle.

During the previous meeting, they had said that only one of the three candidates would run for the post of President in the forthcoming general convention.
