PM Deuba and Maoist Chair Prachanda to wait Nepal’s response till Sunday



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have decided to wait CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal till Sunday for government expansion.

According to sources, in a talk held between the two leaders at PM Deuba’s residence Baluwatar on Saturday, PM Deuba and Prachanda discussed about the power sharing by taking into account both possibilities of UML’s Khanal-Nepal faction joining and not joining the government.

The source claimed that the leaders decided to urge UML leader Nepal to clear his position by Sunday.

Coalition leaders are ready to give 6-7 ministries to UML’s Khanal-Nepal faction, the source said ahead.
