PM Deuba directs to start preparations against 3rd wave of COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed the concerned parties to immediately start preparations against the possible third wave of COVID-19.

At a meeting of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center on Friday evening, Prime Minister Deuba directed to start preparations in view of the COVID-19.

Meanwhile, he also instructed to make arrangement of oxygen before it is too late, set up health desks at check points, and take special precautions for children.

The Ministry of Health and Population in the meeting floated a proposal to impose a ‘smart lockdown’ saying that the cases of coronavirus are increasing in the country, of late.

A CCMC meeting took place on Friday evening.
