Health Service Office, Humla procures eight new oxygen concentrators



HUMLA: Health Service Office Humla has purchased eight new oxygen concentrators bearing in mind the surging cases of COVID-19.

The device is seen as more use in the treatment of COVID-19 in the rural areas, said office chief Prem Bahadur Singh. Prior to this, there were three oxygen concentrators in the district hospital.

Doctor Tasi Angju Lama said the availability of additional medical devices would obviously ease in dealing with the cases. The current capacity of the hospital is to provide treatment to 12 COVID-19 patients simultaneously.
