Banke records five new COVID-19 related deaths

NEPALGUNJ: Five more people have succumbed to coronavirus in Banke district in the last 12 hours.

A 50-year-old woman of Raptisonari rural municipality-7 of Banke died at the Kohalpur Medical College last night.

Likewise, an octogenarian of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan-12 succumbed to the virus at Bheri Hospital early morning, the hospital source said.

Similarly, a 31-year-old man of Lamjung died while undergoing treatment at the Bheri Hospital last evening.

According to the Kohalpur Medical College authorities, an 83-year-old man of Dang Tulsipur-7 died last night.

Likewise, a 40-year-old woman of Kailali Ghodaghodi-1 died at Bheri Hospital on Monday morning.

As many as 291 people have died in Banke so far.
