India’s COVID-19 cases plummetting

NEW DELHI: The number of coronavirus cases in the southern neigbor India has come down, of late.

India recorded 153,485 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 28,046,957.

Earlier, the daily number of cases of COVID-19 had gone up to 400,000.

Currently, 2,033,301 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 25,684,529 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 329,100-mark.

With 3,129 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 329,127, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,556,314 and infected 171,009,562 globally until the filing of this news.
