Will take a communist movement to a new height: UML leader Nepal

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has vowed to take the communist movement to a new height.

Inaugurating the central office of the Youth Association close to his faction in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, on Wednesday, disgruntled leader of ruling UML, Nepal claimed that he was engaged in a campaign to take the communist movement to a new height.

“We want to take the communist movement to a new height,” he said, adding, “We swear not to allow the communist movement to disintegrate, stagnate, and dissolve. This is our resolution.”

He appealed all to support their campaign to uplift the communist movement to a new height by freeing it from all kinds of distortions and anomalies the movement witnessed of late.

Leader Nepal lauded CPN-Maoist Prachanda’s decision to file a review writ against the Supreme Court’s March 7 decision.

Giving its verdict on the name dispute related with erstwhile ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Rishi Kattel chaired Nepal Communist Party, the Court had annulled the ruling NCP on March 7.

The disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction of ruling UML has decided to form parallel committees against Prime Minister and party Chair KP Oli-led faction throughout the country.
