Province 2 Chief Jha donates first month’s salary to National Innovation Center



KATHMANDU: The Chief of Province No. 2 Rajesh Jha ‘Ahiraj’ handed over his first month’s salary to National Innovation Center.

According to Governor Jha’s secretariat, the Governor reached the Kathmandu-based office of the National Innovation Center and handed over the amount to Mahabir Pun on Wednesday.

During his visit at the Center, Ahiraj requested Pun to expand the Center in Province 2 as well.

“Take initiation to establish an innovation center in Province 2 as well, so that the enthusiasts of the Province can contribute from their own place,” he said, assuring, ” The province government will facilitate every arrangement required for its functioning in Province 2.”

Responding to Governor Jha’s request, Pun replied that the Center was ready for expansion provided the Province and Local governments took initiations for it.

He informed that an MoU has already been signed for the Center’s expansion in Gandaki Province.
