KATHMANDU: Chairmen of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal have staged a sit-in at Maitighar on Sunday.
They participated in the seven-day sit-in at Maitighar Mandala by the faction agitating against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
Members of the National Assembly, Province Assembly have been participating in the sit-in along with members of the dissolved lower house.
The faction has been agitating after the President dissolved the Parliament on December 20 on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Oli.
The case against the dissolution is currently sub-judice at the Supreme Court.
