CPN-UML holding PP meeting today



KATHMANDU: Main opposition CPN-UML is holding its parliamentary party (PP) meeting today.

The UML PP meeting will be held at Lhotse Hall of the federal parliament building in New Baneshwor after 11:30 am, informed UML chief whip Bishal Bhattarai.

“The PP meeting has been called as per the tradition of holding PP meeting before and after the prorogation of the parliament session,” said Bhattari.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has prorogued the current session of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament from last midnight.

President Bhandari prorogued the parliament session on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers and in accordance with Article 93 (2) of the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.
