KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda have held a meeting in a while.

The heavyweights held a meeting prior to an all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Deuba. Deuba is holding the all-party meeting in a bid to put an end to the federal parliament.

The all-party meeting has been convened at 10 am in Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor to discuss and put an end to the ongoing obstruction by the CPN-UML in the federal parliament, informed PM’s secretariat.

Dissatisfied with the role of Speaker’s role in party split, the main opposition UML has been obstructing the parliament for the few days. The UML spilt after Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the party recently registered CPN (Unified Socialist) party.
