KATHMANDU:  CPN-UML has issued an internal circular against party split.

On Sunday, the UML issued an internal party directive to the province assembly members and local level people’s representatives to protest against the party split.

The internal circular includes various documents including the decisions of the last meeting.

All the people’s representative members of the party have been instructed to play an active role in favor of the party.

“The recent ordinance stipulates that even local level people’s representatives can leave the party due to the divisive nature of the party split,” the affidavit signed by UML chairperson KP Oli said, “The time and the way the ordinance was introduced shows that it was intended to split the party; hence, all party cadres are notified to defy the ill-intent temptations.”
