Heavy rain forecast in Lumbini, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim

'Bhadaure Jhari' to gradually subside from Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The incessant rain which the country has been witnessing for the last four days is expected to subside from Tuesday.

Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that the continuous rain will stop from tomorrow as the impact of the late monsoon called ‘Bhadaure Jhari’ is gradually on the wane.

According to the MFD, light to moderate rain is occurring in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and some places in Surdurpashchim Province, currently.

Heavy rain amidst thunderstorm is likely in Lumbini, Bagmati, Gandaki and a few places in Sudurpashchim Province this afternoon today.
