NC to develop new criteria to resolve dispute on active membership



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to finalize the active membership of Bara, Saptari, Sindhupalchowk and other districts within five days by establishing new criteria.

A meeting of NC office-bearers and former office-bearers on Friday decided to formulate new criteria for resolving disputes in Dhanusha Constituency No. 4, Sarlahi Constituency No. 2, all constituencies of Bara and Saptari, Rasuwa and Sindhupalchowk and the work will be concluded in five days, said party’s Joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat.

The meeting did not formulate new schedule for the convention as party President Sher Bahadur Deuba was of the view that a new schedule should be made only after resolving the dispute.
