SC will give peaceful outlet to existing political crisis: Former MPs



KATHMANDU: Former MP’s Forum Nepal has extended best wishes among all Nepali brothers and sisters living in the country and abroad on the occasion of the 63rd Parliament Day.

The Forum, which had been organizing programs related to Parliament Day with the support of Federal Parliament Secretariat from its establishment, decided to observe the Day this year by extending best wishes through a press release due to corona virus pandemic, reads a press release issued by General-Secretary Shankar Nath Sharma.

The first parliament meeting was held on June 30, 1959 after three and half months of first parliamentary election on Falgun, 2015 after eight years of the end of 104-year-long Rana regime.

The Parliament Day is celebrated recalling this historic day of first parliament. The Forum has demanded the government to immediately initiate a concrete step to control corruption, black marketing, price hike as well as to protect the people and nation from coronavirus.

Highly evaluating the health workers, security personnel and media persons deputed in their duty continuously with high morale in this difficult hour of COVID-19 pandemic, the Forum extended gratitude towards them.

The Forum also expected that the Supreme Court would give peaceful outlet immediately to end the existing political crisis and politics would get stability in the country.
