KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML has called for a meeting of the erstwhile Central Committee by transforming the 10th national general convention organizing committee.

Based on the demand from the dissenting faction of the party, the Standing Committee meeting held on Tuesday took a decision to this effect.

The standing committee (SC) meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar decided to summon the central committee meeting for July 2, said UML spokesperson Pradeep Gyawali.
