Budget unconstitutional, undemocratic: Rastriya Janamorcha

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Janamorcha (RJ) has said that it is unconstitutional and undemocratic for the government to bring a full budget after dissolving the parliament and declaring elections.

Saying the government move of bringing budget was coercive, RJ Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC remarked that the government ridiculed the republic, constitution, law, parliamentary rules and procedure.

“The government, which has set a date for the elections, to present a full budget is to prepare the electoral ground in its favor. That is the misuse of national resources. Such acts are against the constitution and the law,” said a statement issued by Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC.

KC said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli looked to justify his regressive move from this budget and strengthen his electoral base.

Stating that the working style and working method of PM Oli has become a problem in the politics of the country, Chairman KC said that it has created a serious crisis on the values and achievements established by the people’s movement and people’s struggle.
