NC President Deuba calls press conference at Budhanilkantha residence



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a press meet today afternoon at his residence in Budhanilkantha.

The press meet to be held at 3:15 pm will focus on the current situation arising from the second wave of coronavirus pandemic that has forced authorities to issue prohibitory order in parts of the country.

Deuba is to draw the attention of the government to take adequate steps to contain the pandemic and provide relief to the nation stricken by frequent disruption to their normal lives.

The NC has also formed COVID-19 Inspection Committee to assist all efforts to bring the situation under control. The committee is led by NC joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat.
