UML to hold conferences of party’s various levels by Oct 9



KATHMANDU: Ruling CPN-UML has fixed the dates for holding national conferences of various levels of the party on Friday.

Unveiling the decisions taken by the general convention organizing committee meetings held on April 19, April 23 and April 25, Prime Minister and Party Chair  KP Sharma Oli  has issued an intra-party directive to effectively conduct the conferences of various levels.

According to the directive, the UML will renew party memberships by July 15 and start holding national conferences of local and provincial levels.

Similarly, the national conference of the ward level has been scheduled for August 21. The conferences of municipality level committees will be held on August 31 while the district level national conference has been scheduled for September 15.

UML has planned to hold national conference of the province level on October 9.

UML has already decided to conduct 10th general convention of the party on November 18-22.
