UML’s Nepal-Khanal faction to mobilize 10,000 volunteers against COVID-19 pandemic

KATHMANDU:  Youth Federal Nepal (YFN), a sister wing of ruling CPN-UML’s disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction, has decided to mobilize 10,0000 youths to volunteer against coronavirus pandemic in the country.

According to spokesperson Sanjeev Rai, the meeting of YFN’s central committee members held at its central office at Babar Mahal Friday decided to mobilize at least 10,000 youths as volunteers to stand in the frontline war against the coronavirus pandemic.

YFN has formed a coordinating committee under its Vice-chairman Nitesh Poudel for the purpose.

Spokesperson Rai said that the youths mobilized across the country will make the general public aware about the preventive measures against coronavirus and also coordinate with the authority for the treatment of the infected people who are not receiving treatment.
