Health Minister claims to vaccinate everyone in three months

KATHMANDU: Health and Population Minister Hridayesh Tripathi has said that the vaccine against COVID-19 will be administered to all citizens within three months.

Health Minister Tripathi, who arrived in Butwal on Saturday to monitor the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, said that the first phase of vaccination against Covid-19 would be carried out by health workers and security personnel within three months.

Minister Tripathi had informed the doctors of the provincial hospital about the reason behind the backlog of Lumbini provincial hospital even after the Karnali province had vaccinated against COVID-19.

He said it was unfortunate that there was a delay in a geographically accessible place.

Minister Tripathi said that the government aims to make the vaccine against COVID-19 available to all the people, but the problem has increased at district hospitals as well.
