Green Life Hydropower to issue IPO on Feb 5



KATHMANDU: Green Life Hydropower Ltd. is set to issue public initial offerings (IPO) from Friday (February 5).

On January 15, The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) granted the permission to the company for the issuance of the IPO.

With the authorization from the Board, the hydropower company will issue 3,496,400 units of shares worth Rs 349,640,000 for Rs 100 per unit. It has already issued IPO for the people affected by the project.

Of the total shares, 174,820 units of shares have been set aside for collective investment fund, 69,928 units of shares for staffers of the company and remaining 3,251,652 units of shares have been allocated for the people in general.

BOK Capital is the issue manager of the company’s IPO.

The company has completed construction of a 40-megawatt hydropower company in Gaurishankar rural municipality in Dolakha district.
