Dr Govinda KC demonstrates against HoR dissolution



KATHMANDU:  Civil Society activists led by senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC have staged a demonstration against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) in the capital on Saturday.

Activists holding play-cards reading, ‘Don’t Do Away with House of Representatives’, ‘We Don’t Need Despotic Government’, ‘Totalitarianism Is crumbling,’ have hit the streets against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move to dissolve the parliament.

Demonstrations have been taking place since President Bidya  Bhandari dissolved the Lower House of the Parliament on the recommendation of the prime minister on December 20
