Siraha lifts prohibitory order as situation turns into normalcy



LAHAN: District Administration Office (DAO), Siraha has lifted the prohibitory order after the situation turned into normalcy.

Chief District Officer (CDO) Babu Ram Khatiwada informed that the prohibitory order imposed since yesterday has been lifted from 5 am today (Wednesday).

Janamat Party led by CK Raut had staged a demonstration after police arrested a local youth, Mithilesh Yadav, on the charge of looting wheat seeds from the storage of Aurahi rural municipality.

DAO, Siraha had imposed the order after the demonstration carried out by cadres of Janamat Party turned violent.

A total of 18 cadres had been arrested during the demonstration. The arrested were released on Tuesday itself at the order of the local administration.
