Leader Rawal files candidacy for chairman as UML 10th Gen Convention heads for polls



CHITWAN: Vice Chairman Dr. Bhim Rawal has registered his candidature for the post of chairman of CPN-UML in the 10th General Convention of the party.

Rawal filed his nomination that started at 8 am today.

Rawal’s candidacy has been proposed by Mahadev Bajgain and seconded by Dudhkala Bista. The panel led by Rawal is registering candidacies for all the posts, according to a leader close to Rawal.

Other aspiring candidates are also heading to the election commission to register their candidatures. Similarly, leader Ghana Shyam Bhusal has registered his candidature for the post of vice chairman.

Yubaraj Gyawali has filed his candidacy for the post of secretary and Pradeep Gyawali has filed nomination for the post of vice chairman.
