Prime Minister Deuba calls all-party meeting

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called an all-party meeting for Thursday.

The all-party meet has been convened at 10 am at parliament building to discuss and put an end to the ongoing obstruction by the CPN-UML in the federal parliament.

According to the PM’s Secretariat, the issue of parliament obstruction will be discussed at the all-party meeting.

The UML has been obstructing the parliament for quiet some time now, dissatisfied with the role of Speaker’s role in party split. The UML spilt after Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the party recently registered CPN-Unified Socialist party.
