Everest Premier League: Bhairahawa Gladiators wins by 6 wickets



KATHMANDU: Bhairahawa Gladiators defeated Biratnagar Warriors by 6 wickets in the eighth match of the Everest Premier League (EPL) played at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Wednesday.
Chasing the modest 90-run target set by Biratnagar, Bhairahawa reached the target in 15.3 overs by losing four wicket.

Earlier, invited to bat first losing the toss, Biratnagar Warriors has set a normal target of 90 runs to Bhairahawa Gladiators. Biratnagar were all out for 89 in 17.4 overs.

Dilshan Munavira top scored for Biratnagar with 25 runs. Similarly, Sumit Maharjan scored 13 runs and Asif Sheikh and Anil Shah scored 11 runs each.

Basanta Regmi remained unbeaten on 10 runs. Dhammika Prasad and Arif Sheikh of Bhairahawa took 3/3 wickets to dismiss Biratnagar.

Similarly, Avinash Bohara took two wickets and Durgesh Gupta and Krishna Karki took one wicket each.
