KATHMANDU: Bharat Mani Poudel of Taplejung, who caricatured former crown prince Paras Shah in the comedy reality show ‘Comedy Champion’, has entered the final of the reality show.

Appearing on stage as former crown prince Paras Shah in the 34th series of ‘Comedy Champion’ Season 2, which was aired on Saturday night, Poudel made it to the finals by becoming the ‘Performer of the Round’, beating his three rivals Vicky Agrawal, Santosh Thapa and Hikmat Mahara.

Poudel, who has been asserting himself as a strong contender for the competition, had a strong presence of his speech and love in the get-up like Shah in Saturday’s series.

He satirized the current political instability, which was widely appreciated by the audience.

After the final three contestants in the ‘Comedy Champion’ are decided, the winner will be announced on the basis of audiences’ votes.
