KATHMANDU: Ruling CPN-UML is holding a Standing Committee (SC) meeting today.
The SC meeting called for today evening will make preparations for the general convention organizing committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday, according to UML leader.
UML has called the 10th general convention organizing committee meeting for tomorrow to officially take the party back to May 16, 2018.
Earlier, an SC meeting had decided to restore back to the previous structure to address the grievances expressed by the Madhav Nepal faction.
The establishment is hopeful that leaders of the disgruntled faction will attend the meeting once the party is restored back to the structure that existed before May 16, 2018.
