Govt allocates Rs 2.34 billion for ring road expansion and improvement

KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 2.34 billion for the expansion and improvement of Ring Road.

Unveiling the budget of the fiscal year 2021/22 Saturday, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said the construction process of the second phase of Ring Road (Kalanki-Maharajgunj- Chabahil-Tilganga-Koteshwor) will be started after detailed feasibility study of the road section within two years.

He also said that flyover construction work will be started at Gwarko and Satdobato and Ekantakuna Chowk.
