KATHMANDU: The government has announced that it will provide loans of up to Rs 2.5 million to startups at an interest rate of 1 percent.
In order to motivate young entrepreneurs to get involved in startup business, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel informed that up to Rs. 2.5 million will be provided.
The arrangement has been made to renew the registration of startup businesses and other services free of cost. Policy facilitation will be provided to attract foreign direct investment in start-up businesses.
Likewise, the government has established a challenge fund worth Rs 1 billion.
