KATHMANDU: Bahrain Prince Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalifa has extended support to the children at Prayas Nepal following a successful ascent of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest.
The hildren have been hit by both financially and emotionally due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.
Prayas Nepal is a non-profit organization that has been taking care of 30 children.
Aloft hotel, Prince Khalifa including Bahrain Royal Guards, Seven Summit Treks jointly supported children by providing rice, lentils, cooking oil, copies, pen, hand sanitizers, soaps, masks, and other supplements.
“We would like to thank the Bahrain Prince including royal guards, who have been staying at Aloft hotel after the successful summit of Mount Everest and their expedition operator Seven Summit Treks for supporting the children,” said Vikram Singh, the general manager of Aloft hotel.
‘I am humbled to support Prayas Nepal children in coordination with Seven Summit Treks and Aloft hotel by providing food-stuffs and other necessary goods to the children.’ It is a great opportunity to support the children of Prayas Nepal in this hard time,” said Bahrain Prince.
Aloft Kathmandu Hotel has been supporting children at Prayas Nepal since its establishment.
Bahrain Prince Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalifa had arrived in Kathmandu on March 15, leading a 16-member climbing team from his country, to scale Mt.Everest.
