Maoist Center Chair Prachanda calls for unity among democratic forces to safeguard republic



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has called on all the democrats to stand united to wage war against anti-republic forces.

Issuing a press note on Saturday morning (14th Republic Day), Prachanda, who is also the former Prime Minister, said regressive forces are continuously attacking the norms and values of the federal democratic republic that was achieved through the sacrifice of thousands of martyrs.

“Prejudiced feeling and arrogant thought and style can never be the culture of republic. The over-all development of the nation is possible only through the mutual respect, co-existence and participatory politics,” said Prachanda.

Prachanda in the press note has stressed a unity among the democratic forces to safeguard the achievements attained through the sacrifice of thousands of Nepali people.
