India records 68,206 fresh COVID-19 cases, 295 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 68,206 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 12,039,210.

Currently, 523,602 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 11,353,727 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 161,800-mark.

With 295 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 161,881, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
