Five persons die in car accident in Rautahat



KATHMANDU: Five persons have died in a vehicle accident in Rautahat Tuesday.

A car carrying wedding attendants met with an accident while heading from Gaur towards Chandranigahapur at Garuda of Rautahat.

The deceased have been identified as Sheikh Naushad, 16, Sheikh Sainulha, 22, Mosafir Ansari, 55, and Sheikh Chhotu, 25, of Gadhimai Municipality-3, Rautahat. The identity of the fifth deceased is yet to be established, police said.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shri Ram Bhandari of Garuda Area Police Office said three of the eight occupants of the vehicle were injured and are receiving treatment at local Garuda Hospital.
