Education Minister Poudel says regulation of private education essential



BAGLUNG: Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Devendra Poudel has said that reform of public education and regulation of private education is necessary.

At a press meet organized by Press Center Baglung today, he shared that a 31-point education reform plan has been put forward for the improvement of public education.

“Our emphasis is on improving public education and making private education accessible. A committee has been formed to address the demands of the teachers,” he said.

Minister Poudel shared that the process for building a teacher’s hospital for teachers has moved forward.

Stating that the country is going to the polls as the parties are already focused on the internal elections, he argued that the elections at all three levels should be held simultaneously to reduce the burden on the government.

He said that the political parties are focused on the preparations for the upcoming local, provincial and federal elections.
