UML SC finalizes 1,536 General Convention delegates



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the CPN-UML Standing Committee has finalized the number of delegates for the General Convention scheduled for November.

As many as 1536 delegates will attend the convention to be held in Chitwan from November 26-28.

A total of 1,536 elected representatives from constituencies across the country and from abroad will discuss and decide important issues of the party.

The Standing Committee meeting also decided to elect 51 percent of the delegates on an inclusive basis and 49 percent on an open basis.
