NEPSE increases by 13.04 points today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 13.04 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2782.16 points.

A total of 9.23 million shares of 222 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of RS 5.39 billion.

Overall, the share value of 71 companies declined while the value of 113 companies increased.

Similarly, the prices of the three companies remained stable. Banking dropped by 8 points, hotel and tourism by 38 points, life insurance by 87 points, manufacturing by 51 points, and business subgroup by 9 points.

Development Bank increased by 50 points, Finance by 13 points, Hydropower by 65 points, Microfinance by 130 points, Non-Life Insurance by 3 points, and other sub-groups by 47 points.

The price of Ridi Hydropower increased the most by 10 percent. Manakamana Smart Microfinance and Himalayan Power Partners increased by 9 percent. Gurans Life Insurance decreased the most at 2.6 percent.
