Nepali Ambassador to US Khatiwada leaves for home



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada is returning to Nepal from Washington DC today after holding the ambassadorial position for nine months.

He flew to Nepal with his family from Washington’s Dulles International Airport on Thursday (US local time Wednesday evening).

Khatiwada was appointed Ambassador to US by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on December 22, 2020, following the recommendation of the then KP Oli-led government.
