Unified Socialist to enforce 24-point action plan



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has directed its party committees and organizations across the nation to implement 24-point immediate action plan.

The party has sent a circular to form party committee in all provinces, districts, federal and province constituencies, metropolitans, sub-metropolitans, municipalities, rural municipalities and all wards within next three months.

A campaign ‘One ward—100 organized members and 1,000 party members’ would be launched. A press release issued by Chief of Publicity Department of the party, Jagannath Khatiwada, mentioned that the decisions of the first central committee meeting held in first and third week of Asoj in Kathmandu and seventh meeting of the standing committee have been issued in the circular on October 26.

Similarly, Party Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has asked ministers of federal government of the party to carry out activities keeping the nation and the people’s welfare in the center. The ministers of province governments have been urged to coordinate with other parties as per the sentiment of five-party alliance and to follow the appropriate direction.

The party has nominated 335 central committee members on the basis of different criteria. Every central committee member have to distribute party membership and carryout activities making special plan of organization building as well as submit the report of their activities every month to the party headquarters.
