Youths protest against Chinese encroachment in Humla

KATHMANDU: The Democratic Youth Association of the Democratic Socialist Party has staged a protest in Kathmandu alleging China for encroaching upon Nepali land.

The leaders and activists affiliated to the Association staged a protest at Maitighar in the capital on Tuesday alleging that China encroached on the Nepali border in Humla.

Demonstrators displayed placards reading “Return Nepali land encroached by China”. They also chanted that Pillar No. 12 in Humla district should not be moved.

They also demanded to make public the report of the committee formed to study the Nepal-China border from Limi Lapcha to Hilsa.

The youth association vowed to be vigilant for the protection of Nepal’s borders.
