NEPSE increases by 15.30 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 15.30 points on Wednesday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached an all-time high of 3094.94 points.

A total of 28.17 million shares of 219 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs13.29 billion.

The banking group increased by 18 points, hydropower by 48 points, and manufacturing by 37 points.

Trade increased by 16 points, hotels and tourism by 257 points, development banks by 48 points, finance by 70 points, non-life insurance by 449 points, life insurance by 431 points, others by 20 points, and microfinance group by 37 points.

Prices of Chandragiri Hills, Narayani Development, and Multipurpose Finance increased by 10 percent. The value of Soltie Hotel and Corporate Development Bank has increased by 8 percent.

Investors of Panchakanya Mai Hydro were ahead in losing. The company’s value shrunk by 5 percent.

The price of Singati Hydro has also declined by about 5 percent. Prices of Green Life and Panchthar Power go down by 4 percent.

In terms of turnover, United Modi Hydropower remained at the forefront. The company had a turnover of Rs 380 million while the second-ranked National Hydropower had a turnover of Rs 360 million.
